SuTi Craft Distillery

A boutique distillery of whisky and rượu đế (a very strong Vietnamese 40% proof alcohol), SuTi is the passion and brain child of partners Suy and Tien. Do come in and taste their unique brand of strong alcohol, and be different rather than the usual wine or beer tasting. It's fun to learn about the tradition of generations of Vietnamese alcohol makers!

I was in Arlington this past weekend and heard wonderful things about this craft distillery located in Kennedale (about 20 minutes from Arlington). I consider myself a whiskey kind of gal so I was very interested in visiting a distillery and trying new spirits.

They close at 6:00pm on Saturday and we were already on the way there to arrive around 5:30pm. I called to double check if they were still accommodating tours and they were very welcoming. Upon entering, we were kindly greeted and it was a very chill vibe. We learned a lot about the history, the process, and much more! I totally recommend this craft distillery that offers two different spirits - one made with long grain rice and one with jasmine rice. They also shared they are working on a new product soon!

It was an awesome experience to come here and have a private tour with the respectable owner himself and his adorable wife. We learned the history of he came to be and how it originate . Lots of timing and effort . Hard work and long hours putting in to make this perfect rice wine that Vietnamese love in Vietnam . Now it's here in America and made in America which is a great accomplishment. I was fortunate to come here and support the excellent tasting and time to get to know the owner and his wife. Everything was decorated with class and eloquent . Brings back the Saigon Vietnam classic looks inside with the old classical music playing in background while you sip that fantastic rice wine. Everyone should come here to experience This and enjoy the aroma of the Vietnamese rice wine. Coming soon will be his new whiskey.

Found SuTi through a google search for "only in Texas" alcohol as a gift for my bro in law.

A few articles surfaced about this distillery. When I realized they don't sell online or through distributors, I knew I had to check them out in person.

The brand story is incredible. A product and a brand born out of passion for the highest quality spirit.

I'm so completely wowed by the warm welcome of the founding family and staff.

Customers limited to two bottles per month documented by your DL.

Check this place out before you can't get in. I suspect they won't be a hidden gem for long.

Awesome experience trying new alcohol!! Suy and Tien were super nice and accommodating. Distillery was nice and clean. Liked both, but the new "Lion 45" was my fav! Come check them out, def worth the trip!!

Great experience! Wonderful Vietnamese rice liquor. It's strong but smooth. The tasting room was welcoming and the owners were very friendly. Had free samples and a tour of the facility. The founders are child hood friends and are living their dreams. Definitely a must see. A testament to the American dream. Delicious product too!

I hate to be the first to leave a negative review but I think someone has to. I got a bottle of the "Old Man". It tastes like a cross between bad tequila and hand sanitizer.

Had a great time chatting to one of the owners' wife, Trang, while trying out their Vietnamese-style rice liquor. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us a tour of the distillery and it was obviously a well-thought out system for making small-batch, hand-crafted liquor. I recommend the Old Man (Ruou De Ong Gia) which is fragrant from the Louisiana jasmine rice it's made from. They do have a 2 bottle limit per person.
