Been back a couple times.
The garlic bread bites are really good! Very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Covered in a garlic butter and I think a little Parmesan. Highly recommend.
The daiquiris were both great as well, good amount of alcohol in them and not too sweet.
We got a margarita pizza hand tossed it was great however I do think the sauce needs a little love. The food comes out pretty quickly so that's a plus.
It's a warehouse with large garage doors that open up,
Kid and dog friendly.
The staff is really nice and always happy to provide recommendations.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 19, 2023Previous reviewCute venue with high top and large picnic tables
It's a order &pay at the counter and we will bring it to you type of place.
We got the hand tossed mambo italiano with mushrooms instead of meat - it was good seemed like it was missing a little something to make it really taste amazing - my partner thought it was too cheesy but I didn't mind the amount of cheese. I dipped it in the leftover balsamic to try and see if that helped give it that pop i was looking for & that did the trick! Next time I would order it with the glaze all over the pizza . 7/10
The caprese salad wasn't a salad but it's clear on the menu picture what the expectations are. It was really good could have used a bit more basil but 9/10 for me.
We also had the garlic bites (not pictured) those were good very flavorful and crispy ! 10/10
My boyfriend had the texas sunset as a drink- he said it tasted like juice only but I didn't try it so I won't get into details .
Over all it was a cool place, staff was friendly , venue was cute - kinda small. I will go back & try it again!
Overall 8/10 ! - Feb 4, 2024
It's located in the Longhorn Business Park warehouses and there's no clearly marked sign for the business from Priem lane.
But once you get passed that, there is nothing but goodness inside. Tasty cocktails made with their ATX vodka that they distill and fresh made pizza that is full of flavor. It was so good and there are Detroit style and deep dish options too.
This is a locally owned business with great service. We will definitely be back to try other menu items.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Catherine G.Pflugerville, TX2012658Dec 9, 2023
Sangiovanni's pizza is such a hidden gem in Pflugerville! I originally saw it on Yelp and was really excited to try it. I've since been back 6-7 times and each time the pizza is a 10/10!
The hand tossed pizza is what I've stuck with so far, the crust is slightly chewy and soft on the inside, toppings are a generous portion and high quality. Pepperoni and sausage is my go to order, and it's been so consistently delicious. I can't speak to the Detroit or Deep Dish pizzas yet as I haven't tried them but that's next on the list!
The staff at Sangiovanni are a family and incredibly friendly and sweet. You will always be greeted with a smile and fast, efficient service!
Dining in, there are a few picnic tables with coverings and high top tables with bar chairs. TV's play sports and it reminds me of my favorite pizza spots as a kid. Try it if you're in the area, you won't regret itHelpful 2Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - 4526740Mar 24, 2024
I was hankering for a pizza today so I looked in Yelp to see the options in my area. SANGIOVANNI popped up with good reviews so wife and I jumped in the car and headed out. Sangiovannis is in a line of small business warehouses off of Priem Lane. The garage door was open and we could see family sitting at picnic tables enjoying pizza. We ordered at the counter and discovered that they did not offer beer! They are a distillery and only offered mixed drinks. I asked if we could bring our own beer next time and they said sure. The pizza was great and I plan to go back soon with a six pack!

Came here for an early dinner on a Saturday evening. We had no wait but around 630/7 things started picking up pretty significantly in addition to their ample take out business
As big Detroit style fans this had been on our list for a while and we were excited to give them a try. We're usually pretty set on our toppings and are always excited when ricotta dollops are an option, we went with the dollops in addition to half pepperoni and half mushroom. The service was friendly and the pizza took about as long as I'd expect for a fresh Detroit style pie
Overall the pizza was on the lower end of Detroit styles I've had. The positives were primarily on the bread/crust end. It had a good crunch and solid amount of caramelized cheese on the crust. The bread was doughy but didn't leave us feeling like we'd just eaten a bowling ball
The marinara sauce was the biggest negative for me. It got cold very quickly and whatever seasonings were in there didn't work for me. The cheese and pepperoni both were pretty low quality, around what I'd usually expect from a frozen pizza at home
Overall i like the vibe they're going for and appreciate the breadth of pizza offerings they have. I'd consider trying them again for a non marinara Detroit style if I'm in the area and craving it, but don't see this unseating via as my go to for Detroit style in AustinHelpful 4Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - Dec 1, 2023
I like to have pizza variety in my life, which means everything from thin crust to DEEP DISH. We found this place randomly and saw they had both Chicago style and Detroit style pizzas and ordered takeaway for our family. While it does look like a hole in the wall place, I was pleasantly surprised at how yummy the pizzas were!
Of the two, I think I preferred the Chicago style pizza. It was perfectly cheese and the crust tasted absolutely perfect. The Detroit one was good too but it was just a little too bready for me. Maybe I needed more pizza sauce on the side? Apart from the breadniness, the edges tasted awesome with the melted cheese crust at the top, exactly like I would expect on a Detroit style pizza.
I will definitely be coming back to take some pizzas back home in the near future. I might even get some cannolis to go!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Aug 4, 2023
You might miss it so keep looking!! When you turn into the warehouse it is towards the back on the left.
This is a counter service with limited drinks and NO fountains to even get water! They have a range of alcohol but I don't drink so I can't comment on those. I will say, next time, I will bring my insulated cup with ICE!!
The food! If anything get it to go but GET IT!! The cheese bread and meatballs were enough to fill us but we ordered 2 huge pizzas! Next time I'll get the 12-inch!! I wasn't a fan of the pesto but it was still a delicious pizza. My kids fought over the last cheese bread so next time we will order two.
This place was so uncomfortably hot we couldn't stay for dessert but got it to go! Canolli was delicious! I would not recommend staying and eating in during 116° days unless it is much later in the evening. The AC could not keep up, besides that, this place will be a to-go order must for us!
I enjoyed eating there but yall remember it's HOT and this is inside a warehouse!! Don't come in jeans because it isn't cool!Helpful 7Thanks 1Love this 6Oh no 0 - Aug 18, 2023
The food here was very delicious!! The deep dish Chicago style pizza is one that is unique for me compared to other deep dishes I have had in the past. Their service is fast friendly and on point for customer service.
The ambiance of the restaurant is nice hole in the wall kind of place but don't get discouraged from the outside as the inside pretty laid back and chill. It is kind of warm during the Texas summer heat but it wasn't uncomfortable for me. They did have the A/C is was warm due to the type of building they are on in.
Parking can be limited; however, I did notice most of the businesses are closed around the time they open.
My wife and I bought their Texas Sunset drinks. It was a refreshing drink, but I honestly couldn't taste the vodka. I don't know if that is good or bad thing. LoL
On the inside they have three big TVs, high seating with tables and the rest of the tables are wooden picnic tables for seating.
While my family waited here they definitely had a lot of to go orders leaving from their restaurant.
I have lived in Pflugerville for over 10 years, and I barely found this place on Yelp. LoL It's really great that I did, because this is going to be my go for pizza place for sure!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 28, 2023
The entrance is quaint, when we walked in, we had no idea what to expect but the more we walked the more welcomed we felt. The staff is super friendly and recommended some great items from the menu. We ordered the That's Amore, my friend doesn't eat bacon so we just added it to one side, he got the 'Feel No Psin' Daquiri & I got the 'Sicilian Texan'. Thr drinks were as delicious as the pizza & they complemented each other very well! They're not stingy with the vodka!! Phew! I highly recommend this spot, it's welcoming and the food is great. The daughter-in-law stated that they sometimes do little tours to the distillery when the owner is free. I'd love to go back & check it out.

We had the Detroit style pizza. Thick crust and delicious. I hade the meat and peppers toppings and my wife had margarita. Both fresh and large portions. They also distill their own vodka and serve daiquiris. Mine tasted like a cherry slushy.
I cut a star because of the location. Off the beaten track in a storage facility. It's small and nice inside, but a bit industrial feeling. Big screen TV's for sports fans. Very nice wait staff. Not sure I'm gonna make the drive from Austin again, but if I lived nearby I'd do take out regularly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
