Sabbatical is an award-winning craft distillery making farm-harvested spirits on Victoria Island, California. Premium whiskey, gin, vodka and more are available for purchase + free tastings at the on-site bottle shop and tasting bar. Tours & guided tastings now available on weekends -- book your experience on our website. Open Wednesday - Sunday year-round, with additional hours added seasonally -- check site for latest information. All Sabbatical small batch & distillery exclusive spirits are available for delivery anywhere in California by placing an order on our website. Private events and group tours available upon request. Home to the Victoria Island Farms Farm Stand offering locally grown products year round. Freshly harvested estate asparagus is available in the Spring followed by our blueberry U-Pick experience in the summer harvest season from May-July! Custom barware, merchandise and seasonal local products from Victoria Island Farms including local nuts, honey and more are sold from the bottle shop year-round. Friendly service, laid-back ambience & yummy spirits. I would definitely recommend this place to any & all liquor enthusiasts.

R D.Brentwood, CA3714666Feb 26, 2024We had friends from out of town and brought them to a tour of the Sabbatical facility and learned more about distilling and the spirits business in 3 hours than I had in 50 years...alot of fun, comradery and very friendly. I got the feeling we were right at the beginning of a very successful business, and in few years this place will look much different...the whiskey and other spirits were all great, and my only suggestion would be to have more stools available as we were standing 100% of the time...

17240287Aug 24, 2023I have been driving past this distillery so many times. So on this trip I decided to stop by. The distillery has a lot of space and has a nice setup. The staff was very knowledgeable and guided me through the tasting. I tasted all the whiskey and gin. The whiskey was great and very flavorful. I did buy a bottle. This is a good place to find a great whiskey.

But the blended whiskey is my favorite. I got notes of green apple that blew my mind. Plus the bottle looks freaking fantastic

Brian R.Pinole, CA2213194Apr 21, 2023Have been driving by it all the time so I finally stopped. They give a free tasting of their selection of several whiskeys, a vodka and a gin. It's not really a place to come hang out for long but the whiskey was great so if you're in the area swing by and grab a bottle.

Super fun stop that was worth the visit. This former asparagus farm has surprisingly good whisky and gin -- we picked up a bottle to take home after sampling at the table where we were helped by a friendly young lady. The warehouse is full of whisky aging barrels and it appears there's ample seating for weekend visitors. We look forward to stopping by again when our bottle is empty.
