As an executive with a strong track record across spirits, entertainment, and marketing, Dia has continuously pushed the envelope for women across industries. During her 14 years at Combs Enterprises, she climbed from Assistant to President and led the Ciroc brand to a $2B valuation. Dia has also served as CEO and Chairman of Lobos 1707. Along with her list of executive titles, Dia is also an extraordinary mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. In all, Dia still remains focused on spearheading Pronghorn as a pathway toward success for people of diverse backgrounds in spirits. Our final Black History Highlight shines a light on the founding and existence of Common Ground Spirits. Common Ground Spirits was founded by Julian Peebles and Tory Brown, two co-workers turned friends for life who found 'common ground' in Black manhood and a love of quality spirits. Though they started in tech, they came together to start their own spirits brand in 2020. This brand moves to be more than a spirit, but a mindset. Common Ground moves to support fellow Black-owned businesses for generations to come, and to establish a concept of 'common ground' in what they call "the belief that everybody, no matter race, religion, or gender identity should have equal opportunities in all aspects of life".
