1220 Spirits is a botanically-inspired craft distillery founded by the exceptionally talented brewers at 4 Hands Brewing Company in St. Louis, Missouri. Founded in 2018, the distillery was created to complement the brewery, exploring the relationship and inspirations between a traditional brewery and craft distillery. Like 4 Hands Brewing Company’s approach to brewing beer, 1220 Spirits leads with creativity. What started as a dream to make gin has turned into a portfolio of more than a dozen products in less than five years. Whether we are using unique ruby port and orange bitters barrels to age gin and amaro, incorporating interesting botanicals and fruits like bergamot orange and sumac in our New World gins, or creating the freshest canned cocktails with flavors like lavender and cucumber, we act boldly while maintaining the sophistication of our spirits.
